The 2024 Seagull Run Raised Over $30,000 for PAES!
Sponsors donated a total of $7,900 to cover the cost of shirts for every student, teacher, and volunteer. Sponsorship donations also covered the cost of race medals and many event expenses.

Princess Anne Elementary PTA is hosting the 3rd Annual Seagull Run 1 Mile Race to help raise funds for educational materials and activities for all PAES students. Students can sign up as a fundraiser and share their personal fundraising page with friends and family.
Each year our school relies on this fundraiser to help pay for many additional educational opportunities that we offer to the student body. Help support our Pre-K through 5th grade students and give them a great opportunity to succeed this school year. Students, families, friends, and community members are welcome to run.
SEAGULL RUN SHIRTS FOR PURCHASE: Deadline has passed to order family and friends shirts for the 2024 Seagull Run.
THE SEAGULL RUN WILL HELP FUND THE FOLLOWING:
- Outdoor Enhancements
- Field trips and special programs
- Supplies for classrooms
SEAGULL RUN FUNDRAISER DETAILS:
- All PAES students will receive a shirt!
- PAES students can sign up as a FUNDRAISER either as a RUNNER or NON-RUNNER.
- Student Fundraiser-NON-RUNNER is free. (Non-runners will NOT receive a medal, race bib, or bag)
- Student Fundraiser-RUNNER: Early bird registration is $15 until Monday, September 30. The registration price increases to $25 starting Tuesday, October 1. The first 400 registered student fundraiser RUNNERS will receive a medal, race bib, and bag. Students wearing a race bib at the event will receive a medal at the finish line. Students do not have to finish the race to receive a medal. New this year... every registered runner will automatically be signed up as a fundraiser during the checkout.
- If you register prior to October, 8 at 5 pm your race bag will come home with the student the week of the race. Race registrations after October 8 at 5 pm can be picked up at the main tent the day of the run.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
- 5:00 pm - Packet Pick Up / Arrival
- 5:40 pm - Race Welcome (Students should report to their grade level corral designated with the grade level sign.)
- 5:45 pm - Race Start
- 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm Seagull Run Celebration (Sweet Frog frozen yogurt, music, face painting, games, pizza, and more!)
RACE MEDAL AWARDS:
Special medals for top 3 female and male finishers in 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st, & Kindergarten.
Student runners will receive medals by their grade level sign after they cross the finish line.
STUDENT FUNDRAISING COMPETITION:
- INDIVIDUAL STUDENT WINNERS: Students who sign up as a fundraiser and students who raise the most money will win prizes! Grand prize levels will be determined the day before the race, so donate now!
- PRIZE LEVELS INCLUDE:
- Fundraiser Prize: The first 500 students who sign up as a fundraiser win a backpack keychain for the charm prizes!
- Level 1 Prize: Raise $25
- Level 2 Prize: Raise $50
- Level 3 Prize: Raise $75
- Level 4 Prize: Raise $100
- Grand Prizes: Top fundraisers for the whole school will receive a prize from local businesses.
CLASS WINNERS:
- The top 3 classes who raise the most funds for the Seagull Run will win a class party. Please select the teacher for your student when signing up.
- The class with the most students registered to run will win a class party.
RACE PACKET PICK UP:
- Packets for registered student runners will be delivered to the student's classroom the week of the event. Additional shirt orders will be delivered to the designated student's classroom. If you need to arrange an alternate pick-up please email paepta@gmail.com.
SEAGULL RUN CELEBRATION:
- The Seagull Run Celebration will be held in the grass fields behind the school.
- Enjoy music, face painting, games, pizza, Sweet Frog, and more!
- Pre-order food is highly encouraged, but some extra slices of pizza will be available for purchase at the event.
- Cash and card will be accepted at the event for snacks and drinks.
- Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the post-race event.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION & RACE CONTACT:
- Parking is available in the Princess Anne Middle School parking lot. Vehicles may not move in the PAES parking lot after 5:30 pm until the race is finished. This is for the safety of our runners and race volunteers.
- Restrooms will be available in the PAES gym breezeway near the fields.
- Staggered race start by grade level, beginning with 5th grade.
- Family & friends corral will be available for families wanting to run together and those with strollers. Top finisher medals will not be given for the family corral.
- Rain or Shine! In the event of extreme inclement weather, please check the PAES PTA website.
