The PAES 4th Annual Seagull Run Was a Success!

​

Fundraisers and Runners raised a total of $30,553 for the Seagull Run. This money goes directly back to support Princess Ann Elementary through outdoor enhancements and enrichment opportunities!
We are incredibly grateful to the local businesses who served as sponsors, donated grand prizes, provided goodie bag items, and supported PAES in countless ways. Your contributions were invaluable.
Many thanks to Allison Weingart and Melinda Gay for planning and implementing the Seagull Run with such dedication and care. And to the entire Seagull Run Committee—thank you for all your hard work behind the scenes, from coordinating prizes to managing countless details. Your efforts were essential to the event’s success.

We Did It! Initial Goal of $25,000 Met! Thanks to the incredible efforts of our students, families, and community, we’ve reached our first fundraising goal of $25,000! 

To celebrate, students will get to enjoy watching the following teachers (or designated staff member) from the top fundraising class in each grade along with Dr. Reddy & Mr. Thoroughgood race in a fun inflatables race! 

Here are the top fundraising classes for each grade:

  • Kindergarten: Ms. Moran — $2,847
  • 1st Grade: Ms. Miller — $2,232
  • 2nd Grade: Ms. Harris — $2,095
  • 3rd Grade: Ms. Dale — $927
  • 4th Grade: Ms. Sprague — $1,725
  • 5th Grade: Mr. Shippy — $1,140

Top Fundraising Class – Congratulations Ms. Moran’s Kindergarten! 🏆
We’re thrilled to announce that the top fundraising class for the Seagull Run is Ms. Moran’s Kindergarten class — raising an incredible $2,848 to support Princess Anne Elementary! As a special recognition, the class will receive a trophy to proudly display all year long! Way to go, Ms. Moran’s class — your hard work, spirit, and generosity truly made a difference! 💛

Classes that raised over $1,000 earned a special Class Pick Spirit Day! What an awesome way to celebrate your hard work and school spirit! Congratulations to these incredible classes, and thank you for going above and beyond to support Princess Anne Elementary!  We appreciate everything you’ve done to help make our fundraiser a success! 💛

Classes that raised over $500 earned a well-deserved extra recess as a thank-you for their amazing fundraising efforts!  We’re so proud of the dedication shown by every single class at Princess Anne Elementary. A big congratulations to the top 3 male and top 3 female runners in each grade level at the Seagull Run! 🏅 It was so exciting to see all of our students and families come out to support and celebrate together. Every student at PAES received a free Seagull Run shirt, thanks to our amazing sponsors! Plus, every student runner received a race medal to celebrate their achievement! Remaining funds not only covered event expenses but also contribute to additional resources and programs that benefit our school.
